Yerevan/Mediamax/. “Converse Bank” will be providing banking services to individuals in postal departments of “HayPost”.

Mediamax was informed in “HayPost” press service that according to the agreement, signed between the bank and the postal operator, the postal departments will offer services of opening deposit accounts, currency exchange, cash operations, money transfers, as well as provision and maintenance of debit plastic cards of ArCa, Visa and MasterCard.

Banking services are already being provided in the 19th Yerevan department of “HayPost” at 23 Baghramyan Street. Within five years, they plan to make the number of multi-purpose postal-banking departments reach 250.

In July, 2008, concessive management of “HayPost” CJSC was handed over to “Eurnekian Group”, owned by Argentinean businessman Eduardo Eurnekian. “Advanced Global Investments”, owned by latter, also possesses the control package of “Converse Bank” shares.
