Yerevan/Mediamax/. Board of the Central Bank of Armenia left the refinancing rate unchanged, establishing it at the level of 7.25%.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of CB that at the Board session, which took place on June 8, they noted that in May, 2010, as compared to April, the level of inflation made 1.0%, and following the results of 12 months, the index of inflation reduced by 0.5%, as compared to the previous month, making 6.3%.

CB Board noted that despite the preservation of inflation environment, conditioned by the expansive policy, carried out in 2009, nevertheless, in the nearest months the speeds of inflation will reduce as a result of decrease in international prices for raw materials and foodstuffs and the current behavior of the national currency rate.
