Yerevan/Mediamax/. “VTB Bank Armenia” assets increased by 5.6% in the I quarter of 2010, as compared to the beginning of the year, making 125,6bln AMD.Mediamax reports that, presenting today the results of “VTB Bank Armenia” activity for the I quarter, Bank`s Financial Director Yuri Gusev informed that credit portfolio of the bank has increased by 6,7% since the beginning of 2010, making 82,5bln AMD. 17,4% growth in the I quarter was registered as to individuals’ crediting (portfolio volume made 28bln AMD), and legal entities’ crediting increased by 2,2% (portfolio volume made 50,8bln AMD) in the first quarter. Volumes of funds, attracted by the bank in the first quarter, increased by 6,3%, as compared to the beginning of 2010, and made 99,7bln AMD. At that, volume of funds, attracted from legal entities and individuals increased respectively by 21,9% and 13,2%, and funds, attracted from other banks, reduced by 11,3% in the first quarter. As to the net profit volume (670mln AMD), received in the I quarter, “VTB Bank Armenia” occupied the fourth position in the banking system, and return on equity (ROE) of the bank made 10,5% in the first quarter.
