Yerevan/Mediamax/. Movement of all types of vehicles, including vehicle capacities cars, via “Upper Lars -Kazbegi” post control has been resumed on Russian-Georgian border since May 22.

Mediamax was informed in Ministry of Transport and Communications of Armenia that since the opening of the post control in early March, 2010, basing on climatic conditions, only automobiles with vehicle capacities of not over 10 tons were allowed passing post control.

Ministry stated that from March 1 to November 1, “Upper Lars -Kazbegi” PC is open every day from 06:00 to 22:00, and from November 1 to March 1, it is open from 07:00 to 19:00.

At present, the current PC allows servicing about 400 trucks daily.
