Yerevan /Mediamax/. European Parliament gave its backing today for €100 million in budget aid for Armenia to finance the external balance of payments and state budget deficit.

Mediamax reports that EU will allocate a €65 million loan and a €35 million grant for Armenia.

EU Commissioner Sim Kallas said today that EU Council will adopt the decision on allocating means in the next few days.
