Yerevan /Mediamax/. In January-September, 2009, Armenian GDP cut down by 18,3%, as compared to the same period of last year.

As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service today, GDP volume in January-September made 2 trillion 123bln 218.4mln AMD.

The volume of industrial output in the Republic in January-September, 2009, made 459bln 694.6mln AMD, having cut down by 11.4%, as compared to the analogous period of 2008.

The largest decline is registered in the sphere of construction (44.1%).

Average monthly salary in Armenia in January-September, 2009, increased, as compared to the same period of 2008, by 12%, and made 98 369 AMD.

At that, the salary in budget organizations increased by 16.9% and made 81 788 AMD in the accounting period, and in non-budget organizations – 122 177 AMD (growth 8.3%).

In January-September, 2009, Armenian export cut down by 41,5%-20.10.09

Foreign-trade turnover in Armenia in January-September, made 978.5bln AMD or $2bln 732.3mln, having cut down by 30,7%, as compared to the same period of 2008.

As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service today, export volume cut down by 41.5% and made 173.3bln AMD or $480.7mln in the accounting period. Import in January-September, 2009, cut down by 27.9%, as compared to the analogues period of 2008, and made 805.2bln AMD or $2251.6mln.

Deficit of foreign trade balance in January-September, 2009, made 631.9bln AMD or $1bln 770.9mln.
