Yerevan /Mediamax/. The Armenian government has approved the draft law on making changes into the law on “Guaranteeing bank deposit compensations for individuals” today.

As the Chairman of the Armenian CB Artur Javadyan informed today, they suggest doubling the volume of guaranteed sums of compensation. Thus, according to the draft law, the guaranteed sum of compensations for currency deposits will be equivalent to 2mln AMD, and in AMD deposits – 4mln AMD.

Changes also provide for reconsidering the volume of guaranteed sums of compensation once in each 5 years.
