Yerevan /Mediamax/. Specialists John Tonelli and Robert Setrakian from Wall Street entered the Board of “Converse Bank”.

As Mediamax was informed in the press service of “Converse Bank”, John Tonelli is a senior banker and Head of International Project Finance at JP Morgan Chase in New York City, and Robert Setrakian is the Managing Director of The Helios Group, a New York-based private investment firm. 

The press service noted that according to Bank’s shareholders, the appointment of two specialists from New York members to the Board of Directors of “Converse Bank” will further improve the quality and level of professionalism of our management and staff, as well as will significantly elevate the capabilities of the bank.

Artur Javadyan, Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia, in his turn stated that the given appointments are a positive development for “Converse Bank” and for the Armenian banking sector in general.
