Yerevan /Mediamax/. Part of IMF loan at the volume of %158mln will reach Armenia by the end of the week. Mediamax reports that Head of IMF Mission in Armenia Ninke Omes said this at a news conference today. The means will be directed to the state budget of Armenia for realizing social expenditures. On June 22, Board of IMF Directors increased the loan for Armenia from $540mln to $822.7mln. Ninke Omes noted that Armenia received $250mln in March, 2009. Commenting on the issue of Armenia’s ability to maintain its external debt, Ninke Omes stated that according to IMF assessments, in 2011, the correlation of the state debt to GDP will make 46%, “and this is a manageable level”. According to IMF forecasts, economic decline in Armenia following the results of 2009 will not exceed 9.5%, and inflation will make 3%. Tweet Views 10889
