Yerevan /Mediamax/. World Bank Group (WB) will provide Armenia $670-700mln in the course of 4 years. As the Head of Yerevan office of WB Aristomene Varoudakis stated in Yerevan today, at the session of WB Board of Directors they approved Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) for Armenia for the years 2009-2012. According to Varoudakis, the elaboration of the Strategy coincided with the crisis and this is why the main goal of CPS is reestablishment of economic growth in Armenia and mitigation of the influence of the crisis on socially poorly provided layers of the population. 20% of the loan means, received from WB Group, will be sent directly to the state budget of Armenia 2009, 2010 and 2011, and the remaining 80% - to definite programs. In the end of 2010, CPS for Armenia will be reconsidered, and, maybe, the volume of crediting will be increased. Starting from 1992, WB Group has provided Armenia credits at the volume of $1.2bln.
