Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian government made a decision today to make changes on the law on “Lottery and gaming houses”. As the Minister of Finance of Armenia Tigran Davtyan stated at the session of the government, since January 1, 2013, gaming houses will be able to function only in Jermuk, Sevan towns and Tsakhkadzor tourism zone, as well as in the territory of “Zvartnots” Airport and in the free economic zone. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian stated that before 2013, all gaming houses should interrupt activity in the central part of the republic and move their business to the specially allocated regions. According to him, the issue of opening a gaming house in the capital city may be considered only in case of a business offer at the volume of $100mln, jointly with construction of a high class hotel, the room fund of which should make no les than 125 rooms.
