Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian government made a decision to prolong the terms and change the conditions of the pilot program on subsidizing loans for agriculture.

As the Minister of Finance of Armenia Tigran Davtyan stated at a briefing today, the government made a decision to prolong the subsidizing program till the end of the budget year, as well as start subsidizing the interest rate of loans for residents of poorer 60 rural areas of Shirak and Gegharkunik marzes of Armenia.

Minister of Finance states that initially the program provided for subsidizing of 10% of the interest rate, however, “the given decision will allow the new creditors from rural areas bravely taking credits under zero interest rate”.

Tigran Davtyan stated that the government expanded the opportunities of agriculture crediting also within the framework of loan programs of international organizations.
