Yerevan /Mediamax/. Employee of the Central Bank (CB) Ashot Avetisyan won the sixth interbank chess tournament in Armenia.

As Mediamax was informed in CB today, the tournament took place on May 28 in Yerevan and was dedicated to the Republic’s Day and Children Protection Day.

The second place was occupied by employee of “Converse Bank” Arsen Naghdalyan, the third place – by representative of “Araratbank” Gevorg Tadevosyan.

35 employees of the CB, “Araratbank”, “Inecobank”, “Armswissbank”, “Converse Bank”, “Ameriabank”, “Ardshininvestbank”, “VTB Bank (Armenia)”, “Unibank” and “HSBC Bank Armenia” participated at the tourname3nt.

28 children of bank employees also participated at the tournament.

The tournament was organized by the labor union of Armenian banks and the labor union of CB. The participants, who occupied prize winning places, received respectively 50, 30 and 20 thousand AMD.
