Yerevan /Mediamax/. “Armenbrok” Investment Company announced today the completion of placement of Initial Public Offering (IPO) of “Artsakh HPP” OJSC shares.

As Mediamax was informed in “Armenbrok”, which is the underwriter and the consultant of the issue, 861 thousand 652 ordinary registered shares with the nominal value of 1050 AMD were placed. The total placement volume made 904mln 634 thousand 600 AMD.

At that, the total volume of the issue made 3bln 450mln 750 AMD, and the number of placed shares – 3mln 285 thousand 715.

“Armenbrok” informed that the shares of “Artsakh HPP” OJSC were purchased by 1023 investors, among which individuals and legal entities from Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, the USA, Switzerland, France, Slovakia, Austria, Russia, Iran and UAE.

“Such a wide geography of placement evidences the fact that international business and foreign investors know about the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and efficiency of its business environment”, “Armenbrok” noted, adding that in conditions of the global crisis in the world economy, attracting over 900mln AMD through public offering “can be objectively considered a great success”.

“Armenbrok” also informed that at present the process of registering documents and applications for listing on NASDAQ OMX Armenia has also been initiated.
