Yerevan /Mediamax/. Leader of oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Ter-Petrosian has not received invitation to participate in the meeting of Armenian President Serzh Sargsian with the leaders of political parties on the “Global Financial-Economic Crisis in Armenia”, which is to take place on March 20. Spokesman for Ter-Petrosian Arman Musinian informed the correspondent of Mediamax on this. At that he did not specify as to whether any other representatives of ANC have received invitation or not. Spokesman of the oppositional “Heritage” party Hovsep Khurshudyan informed Mediamax today that the Head of the party’s Council Anahit Bakhshyan has received an invitation; however, because of lack of time, she will not be able to participate in the discussions. The Spokesman noted that at present they try to specify from the President’s Staff the possibility of participation by the party Council’s another representative in the discussions. The oppositional “New Times” party turned down the invitation in a letter to the Head of the President’s Staff, reasoning its decision by “reluctance to participate in simulation meetings”.
