Yerevan /Mediamax/. Rise in USD exchange rate meets the interests of local producers and exporters.

Mediamax reports that the leader of “Prosperous Armenia” Party Gagik Tsarukyan said this today, commenting on CB decision to shift to floating exchange rate policy.

“For already three years importer companies gain super-profits, and large enterprises are in sad condition. If USD exchange rate rises in the whole world, a proportionate process should take place in Armenian currency market as well. This should be clear to everyone”, Gagik Tsarukyan stated.
