Yerevan /Mediamax/. Credit portfolio of commercial banks of Armenia as of January 31, 2009, made 618bln 491mln AMD, having cut down, as compared to December, 2008, for 16bln 4mln AMD. As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the volume of credits, provided by banks in 2009, as of January 31, made 235 137mln AMD in foreign currency, and in national currency 376 926mln AMD. The volume of credits, issued this year by credit organizations of Armenia, as of the end of January, 2009, made 57 785mln AMD, having cut down as compared to December, 2008 for 639mln AMD.
