Yerevan /Mediamax/. “South Caucasus Railroad” CJSC (SCR) and Armenian producers of cement coordinated transportation terms for 2009.

As Mediamax was told in the press service of SCR, as a result of the reached agreement, the cost of export transportations of cement given guaranteed volumes is cut down by 30%. Besides, SCR established 10% discount for raw materials transportation.

SCR press service informed that within the nearest months, reduction of tariffs for container traffic is also planned for.

“Despite the fact that “SCR” CJSC now works at a loss, the leadership of the company made a decision to carry out flexible tariff policy, aiming at reducing the influence of the global financial-economic crisis on Armenia’s economy and supporting Armenian exporters”, the press service of the Company noted.
