Yerevan /Mediamax/. Deputy Minister of Finance of Armenia Vardan Aramyan described the talks on the republic’s entry to ruble zone as “provocation”. Mediamax reports that, speaking at the meeting with YSU students today, Deputy Minister stressed that Russia will provide a stabilization loan for Armenia at the sum of $500mln without any additional conditions. Vardan Aramyan stated that the economies of Armenia and Russia are not sufficiently integrated, and “it is too early talking about a common ruble zone”. Concerning the stabilization loan, Vardan Aramyan stated that Russia is a strategic partner of Armenia, and aid in the present situation is fully justified. Besides, the Deputy Minister stated that the provision of a loan to Armenia is also based on interests of Russia itself, since there are many companies with participation of Russian capital functioning in the republic.
