Yerevan /Mediamax/. “ArmenTel” Company (Beeline trademark) started preparation of the network to work in conditions of increased traffic in the period of New Year holidays.

As Mediamax was told in the press service of “ArmenTel”, the brigades on duty will be formed in the company, the Directorate on information technologies and the Customer Service Department will be working in intensified mode.

According to the Director on Information Technologies of “ArmenTel” Galina Mashkova, the transmission capacity of the company’s SMS-center is planned to be increased twofold.

“Special attention will be paid to the technical support of those regions of Armenia, where mass celebration events are planned for. As the need arises, additional international traffic will be purchased. Beeline is interested in uninterrupted work of the network on the New Year Eve”, Galina Mashkova stressed.

According to “ArmenTel” data, the number of telephone calls, realized on the New Year Eve, as compared to ordinary days, increases for approximately half a million, and the number of sms-messages grows for 60%.
