The aggregate authorized capital stock of Azerbaijani insurance companies in January-October made 110mln manats.

Mediamax reports referring Trend that in January-September the insurance companies gained premiums at the sum of 146.41mln manats, paying out 36.82mln manats.

There are 28 insurance companies and one reinsurance company functioning in Azerbaijan.
