International Moody’s Investors Service rating company again confirmed the rating of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) at the level of “Baa2/Prime2”.Mediamax reports referring Trend that the press service of IBA informed that “in conditions of the global financial crisis and the numerous cases of credit rating decreases among the leading banks of other states, related to the crisis, the confirmation of IBA high rating deserves special attention”. The present rating of the bank is the highest in the region. International Bank of Azerbaijan is the owner of a high rating by Fitch Ratings as well, which, in September, 2007, increased the long-term rating of IBA from “BB” to “BB+”.50.2% of IBA shares are in the property of the state.
