Yerevan /Mediamax/. All four Armenian banks, affiliated with Russian ones, have no problems with liquidity##, Head of the Central Bank (CB) of Armenia Artur Javadyan stated in Yerevan today.

Mediamax reports that Artur Javadyan stated that VTB became the first bank that was rendered help by the Russian government, and in case with “GazpromBank” and “Troika Dialogue”, which own, correspondingly, “Areximbank” and “Ameriabank”, there are no problems.

CB Head stated that the deal on selling 80% of Russian “Uniastrum Bank” shares (parent bank of Armenian “Unibank”) to the Bank of Cyprus was successfully concluded a few days ago.
