Yerevan /Mediamax/. HSBC Bank Armenia announced the increase of interest rates for term deposits in national currency today##.

As Mediamax was told in Marketing Department of “HSBC Bank Armenia” CJSC, for deposits of AMD 3 million and above are now offered up to 7.5% per annum. Rates for 6 months and longer have been increased by an average of 2.6% per annum.

The decision to increase the rates was driven by 2 successful marketing campaigns conducted earlier this year.

“These campaigns indicated that customers desired a combination of deposit security and higher interest rates”, HSBC Bank Armenia stressed.
