Yerevan /Mediamax/. On September 27, the operational center of “HSBC Armenia” Bank opened at 12a Malkhasyan St, Yerevan##.

Mediamax reports that, speaking at the opening ceremony, General Director of “HSBC Armenia” Bank Tim Slater stated that the center will carry out the operational work of the bank’s branches, allowing the branches paying more attention to the work with customers.

The center will be in contact with the banks of HSBC Group in the whole world. A single software support developers for HSBC business-units in Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan will also work in the center.

The center occupies 1800 square meters and is the largest office of “HSBC Armenia” Bank.

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisian, who was presented at the opening ceremony, stated that “HSBC Armenia” Bank’s achievements are significant for the banking system of Armenia, since HSBC was the first authority financial structure, which entered the banking sector of Armenia.

The Prime Minister expressed hope that “HSBC Armenia” Bank’s achievements will become a stimulus for other financial institutions.
