Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian “Multi Group” Concern and Russian “OST Group” Company announced## in Yerevan today the opening of a Russian “Shustov” trade house in Yerevan. Mediamax reports that Gagik Tsarukyan, founder of “Multi Group” stated that the main aim of establishing “Shustov” trade house is to continue the traditions of high-quality cognac production, laid by Nikolay Shustov. The founder of “OST Group” Company Vladimir Pekarev expressed confidence that in partnership with the Armenian side, they will manage to continue Shustov traditions, both concerning high-quality cognac production and nonstandard methods for its promotion. Answering the question of Mediamax on the both sides’ commitments, the founder of “Shustov” trade house in Russia Igor Zargaryan noted that the Armenian side - Yerevan Cognac-Wine-Vodka ARARAT Factory, will take up direct production of “Shustov” cognacs. The main work on promoting those cognacs in the Russian market will be carried out by “OST Group”, and the potential of both sides will be used concerning the markets of third counties. It is expected that the first lot of “Shustov” cognacs will be produced by the end of October, 2008. “OST Group” own the right for “Shustov” trademark in Russia, the USA and European countries, “Multi Group” Concern possesses that right in Armenia.
