Yerevan /Mediamax/. International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) intends to open a subsidiary bank in the capital city of Qatar Doha, Chairman of IBA Board Jahangir Gadjiev stated.

Mediamax reports referring Trend that Jahangir Gadjiev stated that at present talks are held with the Central Bank of Qatar, as a result of which a decision will be made on opening a representative office or a subsidiary of the bank in that country.

IBA has subsidiary banks in Moscow and Georgia, as well as representative offices in New York and London.

In late October, IBA plans to open a representative office in Dubai, after which it will launch the process of licensing and establishing its subsidiary bank in UAE.
