Yerevan /Mediamax/. The volume of deposits, attracted by commercial banks of Armenia as of July 31 of 2008##, made 480bln 242mln drams, having increased by 23bln 984mln drams, as compared to June.

As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the volume of residents’ deposits made 402 990mln drams, non-residents’ – 77 252mln drams.

The volume of deposits in foreign currency as of the end of July made 208 129mln drams, and in national currency – 272 113mln drams.

The remainder on deposits in banks as of July 31 of 2008 made 212 012mln drams, having increased for 41.0%, as compared to the same period of 2007.
