Yerevan /Mediamax/. The Armenian Central Bank publicized the indices of business-atmosphere, economic activity and consumer confidence for the III quarter of 2008 today.

The indices are calculated by means of a survey, which is carried out with the participation of 833 organizations in the sphere of industry, construction and services, as well as among the 1813 households in Yerevan and the regions of the republic.

If the index exceeds the point of 50, it demonstrates positive trend, if the index is below 50, negative trend, 50 - standing state.

Ratio balance of responses with the corresponding indices of the basis period allow getting final indices, which, in the III quarter of 2008, as compared to the III quarter of 2007, made: 96,8% - the index of business-atmosphere, 94,4% - economic activity, 98,4% - consumer confidence.

In the second quarter of 2008, business-atmosphere index made 49,1, economic activity – 79,3, consumer confidence index – 49,5.
