International Finance Corporation (IFC) plans in the course of one-two months to get determined as to its participation in the capital of Rabitabank, representative of IFC in Azerbaijan Aliya Azimova stated.

Mediamax reports referring Trend that within the framework of the agreement, signed in May, 2007, between Rabitabank and IFC, it was provided for the allocation of a credit line to support small and medium entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, and acquisition from 10 to 20 percents of the bank’s shares by the Corporation.

The loan for Rabotabank was allocated at the sum of $2mln. IFC will consider the possibility of converting those means into the capital of the Azerbaijani bank.

Rabitabank will become the fourth bank in Azerbaijan, in which the Corporation is acquiring a share of participation.
