Yerevan /Mediamax/. The “South Caucasus Railroad” CJSC (SCR) has sent a maintenance crew for a restoration of “Akhuryan 2” railroad station##, which links Kars (Turkey) and Gyumri (Armenia) cities, without waiting for the decision of Armenian and Turkish authorities.

As SCR spokesman Vahe Davtyan told Mediamax, the corresponding decision was made by company’s General Director Alexander Kuznetsov.

Mediamax recalls that earlier SCR expressed readiness to restore in shortest terms the passenger and cargo railroad communication between Turkey and Armenia.
