Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian President## Serzh Sarkisian received Ras Al Khaimah Emirate’s crown prince## Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qassimi in Yerevan today.

As Mediamax was told in the press service of the Armenian President, talking about the great development potential of bilateral relations, Serzh Sarkisian stressed the importance of fully using the opportunities. According to him, the fact that in the course of the recent 6 months the trade turnover between Armenia and UAE has doubled evidences that the businessmen of the two countries started working far more actively.

“Armenia always strived to have friendly relations with the Arab world, including, with the Persian Gulf countries”, Serzh Sarkisian stated.

On the eve it was stated that Ras Al Khaimah Emirate will realize a number of large-scale investment programs in Armenia. On August 5, the foundation laying ceremony of the new dwelling and commercial complex took place in Yerevan. The cost of the project makes about $50mln. Ras Al Khaimah Emirate also expressed interest in building a large trade complex in Yerevan.

Investment programs of the Emirate also started in Armenia in the sphere of tourism, real estate and the mineral resource industry. In the nearest years, Ras Al Khaimah Emirate plans to make investments at the volume of $300mln in the mineral resource industry of Armenia.
