Yerevan /Mediamax/. In the first half of 2008, the total assets of “Converse Bank” made## 62.3bln drams.

As Mediamax was told in the press service of the bank, the volume of assets, as compared to the previous half year, increased for 5,9% or for 3,5bln drams. The specific weight of the bank’s capital in the banking system of Armenia makes about 6,2%.

The pretax profit of “Converse Bank” CJSC in the first half of the year made 1,6bln drams. As of this index, “Converse Bank” occupies the 4th place in the banking system of Armenia. The profit increased for 128% or for 0,9bln drams, as compared to the same period of 2007.

In the first half of the year, the volume of credit investment of the bank made 34bln drams. In the aggregate volume of banking crediting in Armenia, the bank occupies the 6th place. The credit investments, as compared to the previous half year, increased for 5,3bln drams or for 18,5%.

The volume of deposits, attracted from the population, made about 41,4bln drams. The deposits, as compared to the previous half year, increased for 2,3bln drams or for 5,9%.
