Yerevan /Mediamax/. 17 companies submitted applications for participating in the tender for becoming## the 3rd mobile operator in Armenia.

Spokeswoman of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Armenia Susanna Tonoyan told Mediamax today that those companies are:

France Telecom (France), CEO Blackrock Communications (Ireland), V-Tel (Jordan), GEO (UK), M$A Tele2 AB (Sweden), Knightsbridge International Telecommunications Holding (Austria), Aetos Consulting Limited (UK), Kalba International (Egypt), AAA Capital GmbH (Germany), Auroratel (Russia), PJ Engineering (Finland), Eventis Telecom (Russia), EEC group (Egypt), mmC Group (Spain), Samsson group (Germany).

Two more companies - SALEM AGENCIES AND SERVICES CO. (SAS) and JGAG, submitted applications without specifying the countries they represent.

After 40 days the tender commission will name the companies that are eligible to participate in the tender. After that, in 40 days period, the qualified companies will present their bids.

The name of the winner company will be announced in December.
