Yerevan /Mediamax/. The volume of deposits, attracted by commercial banks of Armenia as of April 30 of 2008##, made 446bln 022mln drams, having increased for 22bln 313mln drams, as compared to March.

As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the volume of residents’ deposits made 382 187mln drams, non-residents’ – 63 835mln drams.

The volume of deposits in foreign currency as of the end of April made 198 169mln drams, and in national currency – 247 854mln drams.

The remainder on deposits in banks as of April 30 of 2008 made 192 300mln drams, having increased for 47.3%, as compared to the same period of 2007.
