Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenia occupies the 61st position among 118 countries## of the world in the “Report on World Trade Stimulation” for 2008, published by the World Economic Forum (WEF). As Mediamax was told today in “Economy and Values” research center, which is a partner of WEF in Armenia, as to the level of trade stimulation, Armenia occupied the 1st position among the CIS states, leaving behind states, such as Ukraine (68th place), Azerbaijan (78th place) and Russia (103rd place). As to the level of freedom to enter the market, Armenia occupied the 43rd place, which evidences the fact that the economic policy of the country sufficiently encourages the entry of foreign companies in the Armenian market. According to the report, from 10 basic indices, in Armenia most advantageous the matters are in the spheres of tariff and non-tariff limitations (14th place) and legal field regulating business atmosphere (47th place). The most problematic indices for Armenia are registered in the sphere of efficient customs regulation (103rd place), transparency in the activity of regulating bodies on the border (92nd place), availability and quality of transport (89th place), as well as the sphere of availability and quality of the means of information and communication (86th place).
