Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sarkisian presented today to entrepreneurs## the concept of a complex program for tax field reformation.

Mediamax reports that the Prime Minister said that “the main goal of the program is to turn one’s face towards the tax-payers”.

The program provides for the following basic directions of the tax field reformation: complete taxation of the large business and ruling out the possibility of political figures carrying out entrepreneurship activities, in particular, deputies of the National Assembly; mild tax administration of small business; overcoming corruption in the tax system by means of securing social packages for the employees; implementation of a system of voluntary fulfillment of tax commitments and self-assessment; minimization of tax checks; development of information technologies and uninterrupted information exchange between the customs and tax bodies.

The Armenian Prime Minister stated that besides the list of large tax-payers, the list of entrepreneurs, avoiding payment of taxes, will also be publicized.

Tigran Sarkisian informed that the concept is at the stage of discussion. He also informed that an analogous document is also in process of elaboration for reforming the customs system.
