The inflation index in the course of the year made 10.7%, which is almost 4 percentage points higher, as compared to the level, marked in the end of 2007.The CB Board noted that the high inflation atmosphere in the world food markets and the pressures on the internal prices for foodstuffs, conditioned by that, preserved, and the degree of uncertainty of developments in the external markets remained high.
