Yerevan /Mediamax/. The growth of Armenia’s GDP in January-March of 2008 totaled 9%, as compared to the same period of 2007.

As the press service of the National Statistical Service of Armenia told Mediamax today, the GDP volume in January-March of 2008 totaled 483102.9mln drams.

The volume of industrial production in the republic in January-March of 2008 stood at 168858.5mln drams, having increased by 0.2%, as compared to the same period of 2007.

The average monthly salary in Armenia in January-March of 2008 increased by 25.1%, as compared to the same period of 2007, thus making 86503 drams.

The salary of budget organizations increased by 17.6%, making 60618 drams during the accounting period, and the salary of non-budget organizations stood at 109268 drams (growth – 27.4%).
