Yerevan /Mediamax/. The volume of deposits, attracted by commercial banks of Armenia, as of February 29 of 2008, made 407 804mln drams, having increased for 4003mln drams as compared to January.

As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service today, the volume of residents’ deposits made 359 135mln drams, non-residents’ - 48 669mln drams.

The volume of deposits in foreign currency as of the end of February made 126 218mln drams, in national currency - 232 917mln drams.

The remainder on deposits in banks as of February 29 of 2008 made 172 584mlnd rams, having increased as compared to the same period of 2007 for 36.9%.
