Yerevan /Mediamax/. In January-March of 2008, the growth in prices for foodstuffs in Armenia made 7.2%, as compared to the same period of 2007. As Mediamax was told in the National Statistical Service of Armenia, the growth of prices for foodstuffs in March, as compared to February, made 2%. The average price for bread in March increased, as compared to February, for 6.7%, making 367 drams per kilo. The prices for flour in the same period on average increased for 10.5%, making 273 drams per kilo. The prices for butter and vegetable oil during the accounting period increased correspondingly for 5.7% and 6.2%, making, correspondingly, 2206 drams per kilo and 910 drams per liter. The prices for sugar in March increased for 1.2%, as compared to February. The National Statistical Service informed tendency of growth of prices for bread, flour, butter and vegetable oil preserves in Armenia at present. Tweet Views 5479
