Boeing CEO David Calhoun believes that it will be two or three years before passenger air travel recovers to the 2019 level.

“We expect it will take two or three years before passenger air travel recovers to the 2019 level and a few more years for the long-term growth tendency to appear again,” he said as quoted by TASS.

Calhoun adds that when the commercial air travel market becomes stable again, “it will be smaller and the clients will have different needs”.

When asked when Boeing plans to resume the distribution of dividends, David Calhoun has responded that it will happen “in years to come”.
