Yerevan, February 22 /Mediamax/. The growth of Armenia’s GDP in January of 2008 totaled 9,9%, as compared to the same period of 2007. As the press service of the National Statistical Service of Armenia told Mediamax today, the GDP volume in January 2008 totaled 101207.9mln drams. The volume of industrial production in the republic in January of 2008 stood at 51726.2mln drams, having increased by 14.5%, as compared to the same period of 2007. The average monthly salary in Armenia in January 2008 increased by 25.6%, as compared to the same period of 2007, thus making 84355 drams. The salary of budget organizations increased by 22.6%, making 61239 drams during the accounting period, and the salary of non-budget organizations stood at 104297 drams (growth – 25.0%).
