“Chaarat Kapan” has been adhering to strict sanitary and hygienic measures from the first day of spread of the virus.

The company's medical staff regularly checks the employees’ temperature providing them with necessary protective equipment. Some employees have switched to full-time or part-time online working. The health and safety of employees is number one priority of the company these days.

“Chaarat Kapan” has also launched a number of initiatives in recent days, supporting the prevention of COVID-19 in Kapan.

The company has purchased and provided the Kapan Medical Center with multifunctional hospital beds, disinfectants and face masks.

Jointly with the Kapan Medical Center “Chaarat Kapan” has started the renovation of the first and second floors of the former surgical building (which has been out of operation for 5 years). It will now be turned into the Department of Infectious Diseases, for those who have contracted the virus. Chaarat Kapan will also provide the center with medical equipment and other necessities.

Director of the Kapan Medical Center Karen Melkonyan said that in a short period of time the staff of “Chaarat Kapan” has done a great job and solved a number of pressing problems.
