German Commerz Bank may have share participation in the banking sector of Azerbaijan, member of the board of the bank Martin Blessing stated.

Mediamax reports referring Trend that Martin Blessing stated that “the representative office of Commerz Bank, opened last week in Azerbaijan, may change its status in future”.

According to him, Commerz bank, being the second bank in Germany as to its size, is ready to invest in CIS states, including Azerbaijan, but before that, it intends to get familiar with the market of the country.

“Azerbaijan has rich resource, competitive environment and high speeds of economic growth. These three factors became the basic ones for our arrival in Azerbaijan”, Blessing stated.
