The Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia (VWFA) will present Armenian wines at Weinsommer wine festival in Germany.

In particular, VWFA will present 55 wines of 9 Armenian wineries to wine experts and wine lovers within the frames of Weinsommer wine festival in Allgau region of southern Germany on 9-10 August.

Weinsommer has been organized for the fifth time by Lerch Wein & Co, which gives winemaking companies from different countries the opportunity to introduce their wines to 1000-1500 wine lovers, wine experts, HoReCa representatives and potential wine consumers from Southern Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

“The special guest of Weinsommer 2019 this time is Armenia with its wines. According to the organizers, the country was chosen taking into account Armenia’s rich wine-making history and culture and the appealing characteristics of Armenian wines which is a guarantee for success and high consumer demand in Germany,” the statement reads.
