Yerevan, December 14 /Mediamax/. European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is planning to take part in the capital of two more Armenian commercial banks in 2008, Head of the EBRD Yerevan Office Michael Weinstein stated in Yerevan today.

Mediamax reports that Michael Weinstein stated that in 2008, the volume of EBRD funding in Armenia will make about 100mln euro. According to him, in future the EBRD plans to finance projects in the sphere of small and medium enterprise, energy, ecology, transport and the financial sector in Armenia.

EBRD funding volume in Armenia in 2007 made 68mln euro.
