Taking into account the importance of the world cultural values, bilateral relations between Armenia and France and friendship between the two nations, Evocabank has made a decision to donate to help with restoration of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.The money was transferred to Foundation du Patrimoine, which has organized a fundraiser. "Irrespective of nationality, Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris represents a historically and culturally outstanding universal heritage and each can donate to help rebuild the Cathedral", Head of Evocabank's Marketing and PR Division Tatevik Khachatryan said.The construction of Notre Dame Cathedral started in 1163 under the instruction of Bishop of Paris Mauris de Sully and lasted about 200 years. Since 1991 the Cathedral has become part of UNESCO's World Heritage Inscription. A requiem mass for Armenian genocide victims was supposed to be held in the Cathedral on April 22.
