Yerevan, October 11 /Mediamax/. “VTB-Armenia” Bank celebrated the Day of banking workers of Armenia.

Mediamax reports that, speaking during the ceremony, General Director-Chairman of the Board of Directors of “VTB-Armenia” Valeri Ovsyannikov stated that “the modern banking system of Armenia is not that old, but in this short period of time the Armenian banks managed to get on their feet and grow strong”.

Valeri Ovsyannikov expressed confidence that the success of Armenian banks is in many respects conditioned by the employees, who fulfill their daily work at high professional level.

Valeri Ovsyannikov stressed that “VTB-Armenia” bank pays more attention to its personnel. On the occasion of the holiday, the leadership of the bank made a decision to express gratitude to 10 veteran-workers of the bank at the sum of 50 thousand drams each.

Besides, three employees of “VTB-Armenia” bank, employed in the system of international Western Union money transfers, were declared the best attendants following the results of 2006. The representatives of Western Union granted them with certificates and gifts at the sum of $500 each.
