Yerevan, September 18 /Mediamax/. “Converse Bank” became the third bank in the world, which took up the issue of Visa Mini consumer credit cards. Mediamax reports that during the presentation, which took place today, Head of the Plastic Cards Operation Department of “Converse Bank” Benjamin Tadevosian stated that besides “Converse Bank”, Visa Mini cards are also issued today by two other banks - the U.S. “Bank of America” and the Russian “Master-Bank”. Benjamin Tadevosian informed that by its size a Visa Mini card is 40% smaller than the usual plastic cards. It is meant for realizing non-cash trade operations using the credit means, provided to the customer, in fact substituting the process of usual consumer crediting. The maximum sum of the credit makes 2,5mln drams, the minimal sum - 50 thousand drams, the annual interest rate - 24%, the lump sum for provision of the card - 2000 drams. The credit line can be used in the course of three months, after which on request the customer can independently place means on the card. The repayment of the used credit means and the added interest rates starts from the 4th month. Visa Mini card is valid in the course of 2 years. One can get a Visa Mini card in the course of two days in the head office or the branches of “Converse Bank”. The card is not meant for cashing in the cash-machines. The presentation of another new product of “Converse Bank” – the Visa Gift card, also took place today. The customer will receive the card in an original wrapping in the course of one day without a minimal remainder. The lump fee for the service of Visa Gift will make 3000 drams, 0.5% is exacted for the cashing of the card in the cash-machines of “Converse Bank, and in other cash-machines – 1%. There is no fee exacted for the operations in trade objects. General Director of “Converse Bank” Artak Anesian stressed that the implementation of new technologies is one of the most important directions of the activity of “Converse Bank”.
